About Pottery and Glazes
If this is your first time shopping for pottery there are a few things you should know. Not all glazes are created equal. Some glazes contain lead but all of our glazes are lead free. As you browse though our product pages, you will notice that pieces with the same glaze can look very different from one another. There are many things that can cause this; temperature, humidity and the application of the glaze itself to name a few. I love this about pottery, you can have a collection of things that match but are not exactly the same it makes for beautiful and interesting table setting.
